The newer one-piece backrests require the user to remove the backrest frame from the cart.  The internal backrest cushion can then be removed from the frame and the Cool Dry Covers backrest cover installed onto the internal cushion.  The process is reversed to secure the internal cushion back into the frame and the frame to the cart.
